MY FRIEND JETTA
One of the best friends I have made in my life is Jetta. Jetta is half cocker spaniel and half poodle. He lives with his parents in Pound Ridge and New York City (dual-citizenship dog--city and country--what could be better?)
Jetta and I LOVE to play together, especially with balls. We think we are baby littermates, because we play constantly when we are together, romping for hours and hours. When Mom takes the two of us anywhere, everyone just loves our playfulness and cuteness. We love to visit our friend, Nancy, at the bank, because she always has cookies for us and lots of hugs and kisses. Even when we don't sit on command, Nancy still gives us a cookie!
Jetta is just as cute, spoiled, and happy as I am!!
Before I met Jetta, my Mom used to take me to the groomer alone for my bath. It was really a lonely time, no fun at all.
Now, Mom takes both of us for a bath at the same time. Sandi our groomer puts us in the tub together and boy, do we have fun playing with her!! We take turns jumping out of the tub, first me, making Sandi chase me all around the room, while I shake soap and water all over. And I can be pretty quick and slippery! When Sandi finally gets me back in the tub, Jetta jumps out and Sandi has to start all over again, chasing and catching Jetta, and he is even faster than me! Sorry we get you so wet and soapy, Sandi, but it is soooo much fun to play catch-me-if-you-can with you! You are our dear friend. Thanks for putting up with our antics taking such good care of us.
Friends that bathe together stay together!!
